Don’t miss the “I-5 Rivalry” when Kevin Durant and the SuperSonics take on Brandon Roy and the Trail Blazers in two back-to-back games on February 21st in Portland and February 22nd in Seattle at KeyArena. Enter the “Seattle vs. Portland” contest and you could win the opportunity to cheer the Sonics on at both games!
Here’s what you need to do (via email):
1. Answer these trivia questions correctly:
a. Although he is a member of the SuperSonics, one player is still highly regarded in Portland because he attended the University of Oregon. Name that player.
b. Which team is older?
c. How many NBA Championships has each team won?
d. Name the man who has acted as the head coach of both the Sonics and the Trail Blazers?
e. Which team had the higher draft pick in the 2007 NBA Draft?
2. Show or tell us how you would show your “Sonics Pride” while at the game in Portland.
Instructions: Just send an email to KTTHsonicscontest@ktth.com and include (a) your name, mailing address, date of birth and telephone number, (b) the answers to the five (5) trivia questions, and (c) a photograph, video clip or short essay (approximately 50-150 words) that shows or describes how you would express your “Sonics Pride” at the Sonics vs. Portland game in Portland on February 21st. Winners will be selected based on eligibility, accuracy and creativity.
The grand prize winner and one guest will receive transportation, hotel accommodations, and tickets to both Seattle Vs. Portland games on February 21st and February 22nd. Four second place winners will win a pair of tickets to the February 22nd game in Seattle.
Entries will be accepted January 1st, 2008 – approximately 11:59 p.m. on January 27th, 2008.
